Preventative maintenance allows you to prevent failure and extend your UPS system's service life through ongoing support and fast emergency response.
What we provide
Six service lines.
Preventative maintenance
Scheduled inspection, battery testing and discharge testing. Prevents failure, extends service life and improves the MTBF of the installation — because most UPS failures are battery failures, and batteries degrade predictably.
Emergency response
Fast response when a system is down and the load is at risk. Register the fault online or call technical support directly; our engineers carry common spares for the Makelsan range.
Installation & commissioning
Supply, install, commission, document and hand over — including battery banks, bypass panels, monitoring cards and integration into your BMS or DCIM.
Battery replacement
Small to medium UPS batteries have a 4–5 year design life; larger systems typically 8–10 years. We track install dates so replacement is a scheduled job, not an outage.
Technical training
Practical workshops on industrial UPS and stabilizer repair for power engineers. We trained the 25 Nigerian engineers who maintain regenerative-drive elevator installations.
Free site survey
A full report covering level of power consumption and a proposed solution. We look at your existing facility and recommend what suits it — at no charge and no obligation.
Register a fault
Tell us what happened.
To request repairs or replacements, fill in the form. Our technical team will contact you shortly. The more detail you can give — model, serial, alarm pattern — the more likely an engineer arrives with the right part.
Before you file
- Continuous alarm usually means the UPS is running on battery — check the input supply first.
- Intermittent beep with a battery LED normally points to a battery at end of life.
- Overload indication — check what has been added to the protected bus recently.
